[Americana, Singer-Songwriter | waltz] (3:56) - This is the title track for the album “Annie Benjamin - Night Bird.” Annie draws upon lyrics in Hank Williams’ classic “I’m so Lonesome I Could Cry” and tells the story of a woman’s imagining that a lover from days past revisits her in the form of a whippoorwill. The song evokes a gothic sense of loneliness and memory and transcends space and time.
